Our purpose is to provide housing, food, job training and hope for disabled and homeless veterans. We work closely with other veterans organizations as well as city and county agencies to maximize the benefit of our services.
The telethon will benefit homeless veterans in two important ways. Not only do we provide food and shelter but we have also sought to use Homeless and Disabled Veterans (HDV) as a vehicle of self-help wherever possible. Many of the operational aspects of the organization, including fundraising, food solicitation and food distribution are being done by homeless or disable veterans. There is no better way for us to achieve our goals of getting veterans off our streets and build their self-esteem than by giving them the opportunity to contribute to their own success.

Benefits to Sponsors:
Chapter Sponsors can contribute directly to HDV and will be listed in the Anthem Magazine (an HDV publication). Chapter Sponsors are also featured in the Telethon credits and will appear live on the Veterans Telethon broadcast to present their contribution.
Corporate Sponsors are featured in Telethon credits and appear live on the Veterans National Telethon broadcast to present their contribution. They will also receive a corporate tax deduction, assured publicity, and establish their good citizenship.
The Homeless and Disabled Veterans (HDV) charity association, through charitable donations and contributions, provides housing, food, and job training to american veterans. The Annual National Veterans Telethon in November raises funds for the charity through donations and sponsorships.
